The Nine Valley Kingdoms of Zouth Antarctica
This vast span of Antarctic coast is riveted with a treacherous mountain range. Hundreds of miles of jagged peaks erupt from the earth: they are all made of interlocking triangular pillars of sharp blue-black slate, each prism-pillar between ten and twenty feet wide. Mountain tiles are completely impassable by foot, rising steeply and with no clear incline: just a mad jumble of three-sided rock as far as the eye can see.
Nine kingdoms dwell in the valleys between these mountains. Each is strange and wonderful in a way unique to any neighbours, or indeed anywhere on the continent. The people of each place have their own customs and dress, and tread their own ecologies while assailed by their own weathers.
The skies in each kingdom too shimmer a different shade, phasing between two unusual tones based on the time of day. The former listed is at day, the latter at night. These colours are taken from the Wada Sanzo classic collection.
